Reaching out beyond the dream of what you thought was real, spinning on this ball of life, head now under heel. Ready to die, to live this life so raw, alive on ledge- dancing, hurling, freeing your soul to finally stretch the edge.

aged

You who dare not drink from this fountain of yoUth,
grace becomes you in those deep lines deepening
(just because yoUr smile enlightens everything)

I'm wondering, can you see me?
From way out there, beyond the scope of fleshy art,
my light beckoned for love, and only you heard me

Oh but maybe I've just lost my mind.
Was it because his heart roared in unison with the universal union
of light and peace in everyone, that I could finally hear again?

Nom, nom, nom. Ahhhh. Stay, please.

In the sudden bang of thunder's cry,
I knew you in an instant

My belly shook as my knees went weak
my flesh felt as if melting away

No longer was I lonely like
his unheard, hidden song

I am different now, so are we
for you are not the same

Oh, come melt with me
in the desert night

You, the one who sang to me
You, with the heart-mending wiles

(...be my darkness, be my light...)

Pique a Boo

It wasn't a snap, crack or whistle
nothing was burnt up, nothing frozen
still, the dust of debris in the midst of this dream
could not dim the light of this morning
When our soul shouted as we
roared through the Universe

frozen fingers

Even in her mixed up mind
I somehow always knew
just how much she loved me,
but more so, how much she loved you

a diamond for a princess
whether from a king or cad
Burn down our invisible fences
which keep us from what we have

Tired of racing past these lessons
stopping abruptly with a halt that grinds
my guru crushed against the asphalt
I've killed again, this happy finding

You gotta stop and smell things
like burning rolls or rubber
Because every moment that your heart pings
makes it the best one, ever

blue-eyed dream

I was thinking that

it doesn't matter
whether
it's his or hers
theirs, mine or yours
in the end
all of the pain
all of the kindnesses
and all of the love
you receive
will all be ours
